1. Overview
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of digital products sold through ocmods.com (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order, you agree to these Terms in full. Our business is operated from Portugal, European Union.
2. Products
We sell digital software extensions (modules) for the OpenCart e-commerce platform. All products are delivered electronically — there is no physical shipment. Upon successful payment, you will receive access to download the product files.
3. License
Each purchase grants you a single-site license unless explicitly stated otherwise on the product page. You may:
- Install and use the extension on one (1) OpenCart installation.
- Modify the source code for your own use on the licensed site.
You may not:
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share the extension files with third parties.
- Upload the extension to any public marketplace, repository, or file-sharing service.
- Use one license on multiple sites — each site requires a separate license.
4. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). Payment is processed securely via PayPal. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or currency conversion fees imposed by your bank or payment provider.
5. Delivery
Products are delivered digitally. After a successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email with a download link. Download links are also available in your account area on ocmods.com. If you experience issues accessing your purchase, contact us at the email listed on our Contact page.
6. Refund Policy
Because our products are digital goods that are delivered immediately upon purchase, we generally do not offer refunds once the product files have been downloaded, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Article 16(m)).
However, we want you to be satisfied. We may issue a refund at our discretion if:
- The product has a critical defect that we are unable to fix within a reasonable timeframe.
- You were charged multiple times for the same product due to a payment error.
To request a refund, contact us within 14 days of purchase with a description of the issue.
7. Support
Each purchase includes reasonable technical support for installation and configuration of the extension. Support is provided via email and is limited to issues directly related to our products. We do not provide support for general OpenCart troubleshooting, server configuration, or third-party extensions.
8. Updates
We may release updates to improve functionality, fix bugs, or ensure compatibility with new OpenCart versions. Update availability and duration are determined at our discretion and may vary by product.
9. Intellectual Property
All extensions, code, documentation, and content on ocmods.com are our intellectual property or used with permission. Your purchase grants a license to use — not ownership of — the underlying code.
10. Limitation of Liability
Our extensions are provided “as is”. While we strive for quality and reliability, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products, including but not limited to lost revenue, data loss, or business interruption.
Our total liability for any claim related to a product shall not exceed the amount you paid for that product.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Portugal, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions in your country of residence within the EU.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our products after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
